An Open Letter From Baby Grace's Grandmother: Help Find Caylee
Sheryl Sawyers, the grandmother of Riley Ann Sawyers sent an open letter to people in the Orlando, Florida area today. Her concern, like many people, is to find little Caylee Anthony who has been missing since June. Riley Ann Sawyers, you may recall, was known as "Baby Grace" when her body washed ashore on an island in Texas. Her mother, Kimberly Dawn Trenor and husband Royce Clyde Zeigler, II have confessed to killing the 2-year-old.

To the residents of Orlando and surrounding communities,
I know that your hearts are grieving and broken over the plight of Caylee Marie Anthony. Our hearts join you in your sorrow. We come to you today asking that you put aside any anger or bad feelings that you may have and instead, focus your energy in the search for Caylee. My granddaughter, Riley Ann Sawyers, was taken from this world on July 24, 2007 by an act of violence that will forever haunt our lives. Texas Equusearch played an instrumental role in identifying her and returning her to her family. They continue to play a large role in supporting our family in our grieving and healing process, and helping us to bring awareness to the plight of missing and abused children. We come to you today to ask that you join law enforcement and Texas Equusearch in their search for Caylee. Searching for a missing child is a difficult and daunting task, both physically and emotionally. Those that choose to volunteer their time and efforts to do so are truly angels that walk on earth. Even if you cannot physically search for the child, there are many, many things that you can do. There is a great need for food, water, supplies, monetary donations and other assistance. Even making a small donation can make a big difference and I am asking you to please consider doing so. One of our spokespersons talked to Tim today. They will have spent a minimum of $25,000 on this search by tomorrow in gas, lodging, food, supplies, etc. His word were "We are not going anywhere until this baby is brought home." This is a time that we can all come together and do something positive for Caylee. Our thoughts and our efforts should be on finding Caylee and bringing her home. Texas Equusearch is there in a role to support Caylee, nothing more, nothing less. Please think of Caylee as one of your own, and do all you can to help in bringing her home. Focus your efforts in a positive way and with love for a little girl lost. Please come together as a community for the love of a child that so desperately needs you now. As a family who's child has been there, we know how great of an impact you, one person, one voice, one loving heart, can make. As Texas Equusearch says "Lost is not alone". Please, do not let Caylee be alone.

althought it is tragic and this baby needs to come home, who cares that tim miller spends all the money on himself? reality people, he's a crook despite his own tragedy. he only wants the money and attention

wow. What a bold statement to make. Have you ever had to deal with Tim personally?
Have you ever had to have his services? Believe no one WANTS to?
Have you ever suffered a personal tragedy of this nature?
I personally know of at least 3 cases that he helped bring closure to....which the family are VERY VERY grateful for.
What a horrible horrible thing to say. DO you think that traveling WITH horses, and other gear/people is cheap? Room/Board? All b/c he wants to help?
I hope this isn't somthing you EVER have to experience first hand.

Unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable.
You know, I'm not even going to go on the defense, because anyone with even a pea size of a brain would know better...
so that either means, no brain, or only intention is to start trouble...childish games.
But, as someone that has met members of TES and spent hours with them AFTER they FOUND the remains of someone I knew personally...
I can say first hand what a remarkable group this is.
A group of AMAZING citizens, just "regular" people that VOLUNTEER their time and efforts.
You know what, I take that back, they are not "regular" people...they are God Sent---ANGELS!!!
How they have the strength to do what they do is beyond me, yet they keep going...
everytime a hand is extended they grab ahold and help lift that person up...the community up, giving us all hope, meaning...
and our final closure.
Tim Miller nor TES are ever in it for "the money and attention"!!!!!!!!!!
Do you know how cases such as these rip out the hearts of a nation...
do you think you could manage having your heart tore out and bashed over and over with every case...
with every person found...and even more with those never found.
with ever family you must confront to let know about their loved one.
Now for Tim Miller personally, do you not think that he doesn't relive his own loss with every case he takes in??
But he pushes that aside...
All of them, they push that heartache aside and move on, to help bring closure, to give answers, they don't give up...
They put their entire being on the line to give the missing a name, a voice...a final 'goodbye'!!
There is NO glamour in these cases, no glamour at all...
not enough riches in the world or fame to be sought...

So you would deny this baby the attention and the help she needs because of your personal feelings about Tim? You think that it's not expensive to do what he does? You think for one minute that if you were in need of TES's services that you would be turned down?

no one is denying the baby attention. if i ever needed help i would call other people in tes, i would never call tim. there are plenty of people out there to help her without taking people's money and using it the wrong way. there are a lot of people that will help for nothing.

I just find it........conveinent....that out of all the good TES has done (A simple quick look at their website shows you)....that the only time I have ever head a bad word about Tim or TES EVER comes at the same time that Cindy is trying to get attention turned elsewhere - i.e., trying to bad mouth Tim and get the search cancelled. (C'mon now. WHO does that? )
Anyways - I pray that the community does not turn in that direction (which I doubt seriously) and that the focus remains on the sweet baby girl that is MISSING, not whether Tim or who ever is a drug dealer, or an ex con, or an ailen (for that matter).
MAY CAYLEE BE BROUGHT HOME.

I have nothing to be bitter about. My experience with Tim was years and years ago. The TRUTH is still going on. These people on here are saying that lieing cheating and stealing and doing drugs and drinking all the time makes it okay. i will say this again. there other people that can do it. just find the girl. nobody has to do it with tim.

Who? Who has stepped in to help find Caylee? who has brought the resources? Who has stepped up to the plate, and put themselves out there, boots on the ground and spent the time and money to do it? There are a couple of well known child advocates that have actually said they want nothing to do with this case because of the circumstances with the family. So you tell us who else is going to do it. The Sheriff's Office has aligned themselves with Tim and Equusearch. It's not about Tim. It's about Caylee. Quit trying to malign Tim and put the focus on the baby, where it belongs. I know the stories about Tim, but I choose to focus on the mission of Texas Equusearch, an organization that you, yourself were proud to serve. Are you now ashamed of the organization, or just don't like Tim personally?

I am doing all I can to help. I worked with Sheryl Sawyers to get the letter you see posted here out to the media. I built the new website www.pleasefindcaylee.com, and am paying for it personally. Right now, it contains info about how to work with Texas Equusearch. If we find other, constructive ways to help with the search for Caylee, trust me, those will be posted also.
What are you doing to help?
You are the one that started w/the accusations, taking the focus away from the desperate search for Caylee. Come up with some good, constructive ways to help in the search, and I'll be more than happy to work with you. If all you want to do is spout stuff about Tim, I have no time for you.

Really Fred, what does it matter who finds her as long as SOMEONE does. All this is just petty, IMO.
And again, Really Fred, what does it matter if he lies, cheats, does drugs and all the other you say - if he is helping familes - like the ONE example below -
An organization in Sri Lanka contacted TES, asking for their assistance to search for missing people. “We had no clue how we were going to pull that off,” says Miller, “but we did. I took 14 people to Sri Lanka for 14 days. In the first hour and 15 minutes, we found eight bodies. While we were there, we adopted a village, and when we left, it was cleaned up and ready to rebuild. In all, we found over 220 deceased people.”
In the U.S., they were close to the state of Louisiana when Hurricane Katrina wiped out New Orleans and destroyed many homes, so once again TES pitched in.
Ummm....like someone already said....we all have skeletons in our closets, I know I do, and IM sure you do too....I just hate seeing ppl get sidetracked off of what is important here and the only thing that is important and that is Caylee.

Personally knew the family...
I could have swore NOT ONE SINGLE CENT was ever asked for, or expected...
Rain or shine (so the saying goes), they were coming to search!!
HUGE KUDOS to Tim for his efforts with Caylee, and BEAR HUGS for continuing his efforts as stated yesterday, despite the non-cooperation of family.
TES are Earth Bound Angels in my book....

I know from much experience that Mr. Miller will,lie, steal and cheat. However, I have been told that it is for the greater good. You do the math. If someone you know and love is missing, do you care how they are found, or at what cost.

First, so what if Tim miller has sold drugs in the past, it doesn't make him a bad person and believe it or not, people can and do change their ways. He can't be held responsible now for things he did years ago, Fred I am sure you have some skeletons in your closet too, doesn't mean that when you try to do good for others, that you are doing something wrong.
Secondly, to answer your question Cindy, I don't think Debbie said anything slanderous in regards to you, I think she is stating the obvious just as most people see it. For it to be slanderous you must need to be able to prove that what she said isn't true. Can you do that? Can you give proof that you aren't trying to shine light in a different direction? And JMO, but since you are now throwing the slander word around, I think you are trying to profit off of it also. AGAIN JUST MY OPINION!!!!!!!

I just want to clear something up. I am not Cindy the Grandmother of Caylee. I am Cindy, a former employee of TES. I know first hand what goes on behind closed doors and have not aired the dirty laundry in public. I first read the comments by Debbie and wrongly assumed it was directed at me. That is why I made the comment. I now realize that it was not directed at me. Therefore, I apologize for saying it was slanderous, and for making an assumption that was not so.

Actually Debbie's statement would have been libelous or defamatory, not slanderous. And because Cindy is now considered a public figure, libel does not apply here.
And it's not libelous because it is the truth, Cindy admitted that she was trying to redirect the attention to a LIVE Caylee in Texas.
And you're not the Cindy. You jumped the gun.

I will probably go down when they go again, would love to meet up. I will actually be in their offices here in TX next week, helping them out w/ office work, etc., getting caught up on some things for them. They are extremely busy, so I told Tim I'd spend a week down there helping. If I find out when they plan to go back to Orlando, I'll let you guys know. Would love to meet up with you. Everyone I have ever met w/ Texas Equusearch, past and present, are truly angels !!
