my tribute to be read in my absence

DAD, I SO WISH I COULD BE THERE TODAY TO SAY GOODBYE, BUT I AM ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD..AND AS YOU ALWAYS TAUGHT ME IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAPACITY AS AN ENTERTAINER...THE SHOW MUST GO ON.

I WAS ALWAYS EXPECTING THAT CALL YET, WHEN IT CAME, MY GOD WHAT A SHOCK...YOU ARE NEVER READY TO LOOSE A PARENT.

YOUR CHILDREN, ARLENE, MICKEY, PATTY, MYSELF AND NANCY ARE NEXT IN LINE AND THAT IS A SOBERING THOUGHT.

ITS SO HARD TO FIND THE RIGHT WORDS TO SAY..BUT I WILL TRY.

YOU PUT ON QUITE A SHOW IN YOUR LIFE..HUMOUR, COMPASSION, WISDOM, AND STRENGTH..BUT THIS TIME, AS WE GATHER TOGETHER , IF NOT IN THE SAME PLACE, AT LEAST WITH THE SAME HEART, WE APPLAUD YOU ONE LAST TIME..BUT THERE WILL BE NO ENCORE..ONLY SILENCE.

AND IN THE SILENCE I'LL SIMPLY SAY..I LOVE YOU DAD..GO TO THE LIGHT...MOM IS WAITING FOR YOU

YOUR  DAUGHTER SUSIEXXXXX
