American Idol Contestant Honors Slain Student President

American Idol wild card entry Anoop Desai gave a shout out to his Chapel Hill, North Carolina family and a girl named Eve. Who is Eve? Eve Carson was a 22 year old Georgia native who was kidnapped and murdered one year ago today. She was the student body president at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Anoop was a surprise 13th addition to the "final 12" and will go on to next week's AI competition.
