Kara v. Bikini Girl On American Idol: "I had absolutely no idea they were doing that"
If you were one of the millions who watched the American Idol Finale, I'm sure you also caught the reappearance of everyone's favorite bikini wearer, Katrina Darrell. She was a contestant who was eliminated back in February but will forever be known as "Bikini Girl."
In the Finale, she was brought out to accept the "Golden Idol" for best attitude and then went on to sing "Vision of Love" when Idol judge appeared behind her to sing and in what looked like a sheepish attempt to out-bikini her, ripped open her dress.

But this was not quite as the routine was rehearsed.
"I had absolutely no idea. I rehearsed 3 times there to do a solo. The finale was not how I rehearsed but I think Kara wants to be a contestant on season 9 and I should replace her as the new judge!!!" said Katrina. "Now that would be entertainment!!! I have had so much positive response and I think Kara's little prank backfired on her. It made her look insecure and jealous trying to compete with me. After all, she is suppose to be a judge. I never entered a Kara vs Katrina contest in the first place!!!"
