The skull fragments found on Monday have been identified and it's not Jaliek Rainwalker. The news brings new hope to Jaliek's grandparents but crushes a Colorado family. Jennifer Hammond was 18 when she disappeared in August 2003.
 


The New York State Police said she was last seen in the latter part of August 2003, soliciting magazines in the Creek and Pines Trailer Park, Ballston Spa, New York. She failed to appear at the designated pick up location with her employer Atlantic Circulation Inc. Jennifer is originally from Littleton, Colorado and had made arrangements for a bus ticket from Albany, N.Y. to Colorado. The ticket was never picked up and her belongings were left behind in an Albany hotel.

They are investigating her death as a homicide.

Jaliek's grandmother Barbara Reeley said, "We have been on an extreme rollercoaster and now our hearts go out to Jennifer's family."
